Shape Import

Activates the Shape Import application for converting shapes to the CADMATIC Hull surface format and importing them to a CADMATIC Hull shape database (HDB).

Note: In distributed projects shapes can be updated and saved if the Hull Shape is checked out. Otherwise the shapes can saved to a different shape name, or a different format.

Importing NAPA databases

To import a NAPA database, a valid NAPA license is required. Also, the NAPA Steel integration settings in Hull must be set up. This can be done in System Management > Projects > NAPA Steel > Integration Settings.
