Calibration Symbols

Production > Plate Cutting Data > Calibration Symbols

For information on the settings related to the DXF layername and color number used for the orientation/positioning symbols, see Production > Plate Cutting Data > DXF Output > Layers Colours 2.

For more information on the calibration symbols and their placement in the DXF, see Plate Calibration Symbols in the Managing Production Information Administrator's Guide.

Plate Calibration Symbols

Specifies if the plate calibration symbols are to be shown in the DXF of the plate or not. By default, the symbols are not shown.

Showing the plate calibration symbols in the DXF also requires that the Rearrange texts automatically option is selected for the coding script that is used to code the plate. Coding scripts can be created and modified in System Management > Production > Plate Cutting Data > Coding Scripts.

Minimum Diagonal Length

Specifies the minimum acceptable length of the longest diagonal (in mm). If the length of the longest diagonal is equal to or exceeds this value, the orientation symbols will be placed on the DXF of the part, otherwise they will not be added to the DXF. The default value is 500.

Offset From Outer Contour

Specifies a "fixed" offset from the outer contour (in mm) for the start and end symbols. The offset is considered along the longest diagonal of the part. This offset determines where the start and end symbols are positioned inside the part along the longest diagonal. The default value is 100.
