Example configurations
It is possible to create five DXF/DWG export and import sample configurations in Import/Export > DXF/DWG/PDF > Configurations in the System Management application. The system saves the configurations in the %ncghelps%\dxf directory.
general | With this configuration the result is as close as possible to the drawing on the screen. |
---|---|
plotlines | Can be used when a single must be exported and not the normal lines used for plates and brackets in cross section. |
nohatches | Hatches and solid fills are not exported with this configuration. |
special | A special configuration where specific parts are put into specific layers and also the blue lines are used. |
color | A special configuration where parts with a specific color are placed in a specific layer. |
import | A configuration for importing DXF/DWG files. The elements get layer identifications so that the imported file can be used with object control and layer control. |
All example configurations produce an AutoCAD 2000/2002 compatible DXF/DWG file, by setting the variable DXFVersion=2000 in label 1 of the .cfg file.
Once created, the example configurations are available for use, along with other available configurations, in the configuration selection list in the Export DXF/DWG/PDF file dialog in the 2D-Contek, 3D-Contek and Shell applications.
