Situation C

This topic describes the actions when the shape at the new position in situation A or B is not the same as in the original ship.

For information on the Shift Block dialog options, see Shift Block.

Do the following:

1. Perform steps 1-5 as described in either Situation A or Situation B.
2. Recalculate all constructions in the shifted blocks using the Home > Recalculate > All Construction Parts function.
3. Finalize the drawings.
   1. Situation A: all drawings can now be updated. In Tools > Recalculate Views, select the Update hull-line option and click OK. (The Check measure ref. option in the same dialog can be deactivated.)
   2. Situation B: perform steps 6-8 as described in Situation B. The hull line will automatically be updated, because the values which have to be changed in these steps have also effect on how the hull line in the drawings should be presented.
