Release notes 2021

Below are the release notes for CADMATIC Electrical versions 2021T1–2021T3.

The following conventions apply to these release notes:

Filenames, pathnames and environment variables are in italics.
Commands, options, dialog names, and menu choices shown in the user interface are in bold.

2021T1

Cabinet Layout

New and improved features

Draw and edit ducts

Drawing and modifying installation rails have been improved.

In the Draw installation rail dialog, you can enter the rail length. Alternatively, you can choose to indicate the length from the drawing.
An option to modify installation rails has been added to the toolbar and in the context menu.
The modifying function opens the Modify installation rail dialog, which is similar to the drawing dialog.

Help

The help functionality has been renewed.

A new help technology has been taken into use. The technology used previously showed help topics in a separate help window, which was installed with the Cadmatic software. The new technology shows help topics in user's default browser (Edge, Firefox, or Chrome, for example ). The help topics are now easier to read, and especially the search operations are much more comprehensive than before. In terms of using the software, the help works as before: the help topics open with the Help buttons in the dialogs and the Context Help command.

Fixed bugs

When inserting devices from the project tree, device's size information was not taken into account.
Inserting user's own terminal strips did not work.
When using Draw Lite, downloading Electric.dll did not work.

Distribution Board

Bug fixes

Changing the drawing frame to the default did not work correctly. The drawing frame language is now primarily based on the distribution board schema template, instead of the design language.

Layout

New and improved features

Scalable symbols	When defining a scalable symbol, you can now select whether to show the ID attribute or not. Selecting this will automatically show the ID for lighting fixtures, for example. A number of new scalable symbols are now available.
Systems and system selection	In system selection, you can now select Only user's systems to show only your own systems in the list.
System ID	The system ID has been removed from the list of systems in the whole user interface (in the English user interface only).
Manage storey settings	The storey settings are now more comprehensive: You can now define more than one file for one storey, and separate them with the planning area information- You can then divide the planning areas into separate files, and different users can work on the same storey at the same time. You can create storeys without defining files for them. This way, you can create the storey settings into the project in advance and add the file later. The form of the planning area text (= system) is free. You can only have one document for each system per storey but you can several different systems.
3D drawing	The toolbar for the 3D drawing functions has been renewed. The toolbar now includes buttons for the functions that are most often used, such as easy ways to switch between the 2D and 3D views.
Reference drawings	When a reference drawing, PDF reference drawing or an IFC reference drawing is inserted from the reference drawing tree, it is placed to the AREF layer.
Setting files	The new E_2021T1 settings file colors match YTV2012. Latvian and Lithuanian settings files have been renamed to Latvian.ase and Lithuanian.ase. The Estonian settings file has been updated with the same settings as in the other files, and the colors have been changed to match Estonian requirements. Three printing styles have been added (Finnish and English): black & white, black & white PDF, and color.
Help	The help functionality has been renewed. A new help technology has been taken into use. Bug fixes

Drawing a race-way did not always stop when right-clicking.
Continuing a race-way with the + sign did not work correctly when AltGr was pressed down.
A part of the product model icon was not shown in product model management.
When inserting a label in a layout, the scale of the preview icon was incorrect.
Opening a project prompted an error: Index was outside the allowed area.
In 3D generation, the layers of race-ways were not turned on after generation.
In some situations, the position attribute was turned on instead of the ID.
The preview for inserting a symbol showed the position sign.
When exporting to IFC, the + sign cannot be removed from the distribution board name. Exporting location and ID data to IFC has been changed so that the prefix is taken from the project's settings.
The width of attribute text for a scalable lighting fixture STPVALNX was not good. The width scale was changed to 0.85.
Fire detector diagram did not work, if device had an address in the general attributes.
Inserting a symbol in wiring opened the Other symbols menu.
There were problems with copying a symbol when adding information for an occurrence in a drawing.
Changing the product model to the product model of a scalable symbol caused problems.
Showing the information text for a reference drawing was slow.
Opening the symbol package function was slow.
The electrical symbol descriptions worked slowly.
A symbol converted to an Electrical symbol lost elevation data afterwards.
Copying symbols from product models to the clipboard and undoing removal created product model dublicates.
The Calculation defaults function notified of erroneous values even when using the default settings.

Schematics

New and improved features

Drawing lines	In line drawing functions, such as cable combing and cable schema, polyline is now used instead of a line.
Excel links	Creating Excel links has been improved: You can copy links to the clipboard. Only the row numbers found from Excel are listed. Linked fields are remembered. The numbers already in the template drawing are shown. Selecting a field by double-clicking in both the field list and the row number list is possible.
I/O	The width factor of I/O symbol attributes has been changed to 0.85, which is in use for other schema symbols.
Help	The help functionality has been renewed. A new help technology has been taken into use. The technology used previously showed help topics in a separate help window, which was installed with the Cadmatic software. The new technology shows help topics in user's default browser (Edge, Firefox, or Chrome, for example ). Bug fixes

Unnecessary functions have been removed from the context menus.
In SQL queries, the WHERE clauses were missing the uni-code prefix N in SQL Server usage.
Drawing frame position lost the prefix when generating a CAD list.
Attaching a drawing to a project removed part numbers from attachment symbols.
Linking of location boundary and cable marking did not work correctly.
Previewing the drawing module only did not work.
Modular generation of drawings only did not remove temporary drawings.
Sometimes generating with drawing modules only caused all sheets to go on top of each other when changing the sheet.
Duplicate locations were created when modifying locations from the project tree.
Clearing the date did not work in DB Tool.
There were errors in inserting/copying I/O symbols.
When saving and closing a drawing, the symbol folder was not created for the project.
If there were no drawings in the project database and you tried to rename project's drawing file, an error about the file being in use was shown.
Problems in copying I/O card channel occurrences has been fixed.
Adding a symbol to a product model caused problems with the pin order.
Cross-reference information added with the Insert object info to drawing function did not work correctly.
The + sign for the device pin is not shown in cable combing.
The Move to other end of reference function has been fixed in Electrical Lite (when reference made with Pro or Standard).
The SL queries related to updating and removing project's product information pins and additional information did not work correctly.
Drawing of cable combing with pair shield has been fixed.
Queue printing was only able to combine drawings with sheets. Now you can have drawings with or without sheets in the same PDF.
Showing customer ID on terminal blocks has been fixed.

Creating your own symbols

The following changes affect creating your own symbols:

By default, the symbol main type is Device. In existing projects, the symbol type for occurrences and symbols does not change, and they work as before.
If the symbol to be inserted does not have a description, the description will be taken from the Tiptext of the symbol button field.

Manage drawing frames and logos

Map label attributes has been changed:

The first column lists standard attributes with their prompts, e.g. E_DWR_NUMBER.
The second column and the drop-down menu opening from it lists user's label attributes.
If attributes are read from the symbol, the Attribute in label column also shows attribute prompts.
If attributes are read from the symbol and the symbol is found from disk, you can also indicate it from the drawing.

The dialog for the Queue printing from drawing sheets function now has columns that show sheet number, sheet names (1–3) and drawing number. These new columns make it easier to decide which sheets to print.

Fixed bugs

When inserting a terminal block into a drawing, the size changed to the size of the symbol.

Distribution Board

Manage drawing frames and logos

Bug fixes

In a wide distribution board schema frame, the default location for a symbol inserted using F8 was incorrect.
In distribution board schema frames, the grid was changed to 0.5,0.5.
When filling the distribution board schema, it was possible to enter an ending row that did not exist in the drawing, which resulted in Draw crashing.

Layout

New and improved features

Functions	The Insert device text to drawing function is now available in the Functions toolbar.
Manage setting files	In setting file management, it is now possible to update changes to the drawing when closing the setting file management dialog.
Auxiliary functions	In the Convert to Electrical symbol function, you can now define elevation and system. Both the elevation and the system can be picked from the drawing. Defining the system is mandatory. Selecting a system also sets the default elevation if one has been defined for the system in Functions > Set default elevation values for current drawing. In addition, you can select Convert all symbols with the same name to create IDs for all symbols with the same name. Otherwise, only the symbol type will be changed for the symbols not selected.
Markings	The Insert object info to drawing function has been improved: The function remembers your definitions for text size and alignment the next time you open it. It is now possible to define more product information for drawings with the Name 1, Name 2, Amount, and Planning unit fields. When inserting, the symbol can be rotated with F8 to set the desired angle. The angle stays when updating, moving, or copying the symbol. Symbols added with this function can be edited by right-clicking and selecting Edit symbol. The changes can be updated to all the similar symbols, or to the selected symbol only. When inserting, the address symbol can be rotated with F8 to set the desired angle. The angle stays when updating, moving, or copying the symbol.
Saving symbols	When saving symbols, you can now select the E_Elevation attribute, with which it is easy to add an elevation to a symbol.

View with visualization window	A new button added in the 3D drawing toolbar opens the Electrical visualization window dialog. You can also open the dialog with the `EVWINDOW` command. When you select Use visualization window, a floating window opens with which you can, for example, inspect 3D objects on a second monitor. When the visualization window is in use, you can define its layer states with setting groups. Ctrl and Shift can be used when selecting multiple setting groups. The function remembers the previously selected setting groups the next time you use it.

Bug fixes

The Group dialog showed calculated length instead of the length manually defined for a cable.
Rounding of raceway elevation did not work in some cases.
When selecting a symbol from a drawing and trying to copy it, CADMATIC Draw was closed.
Changing the color for a raceway from the color menu at the top of the screen did not change the raceway color in the drawing.
When drawing a cable, the inserted symbol was assigned the _C system of the cable.
Converting a symbol to an Electrical symbol did not work, because after filtering out the standard Electrical symbols there were no symbols left to convert.
3D generation of raceways made Draw close.
Saving your own 3D symbol did not add to the icon menu, if Save icon area by yourself was selected.
The Define elevation function did not update the reference.
The Insertion point of element's electrical outlet function always asked for a system.
Storey settings did not work in IFC export, if the drawing was not in the project.
With raceways, there were problems related to the location of the reference line and reference mark values being cleared.
Race-way color changed when copied.
IFC export included empty information which resulted in errors.
Saving in DWG lost position marking from motion detectors, if device occurrences did not have the E_POSID attribute.
Changing the storey for wiring did not work, if the drawing was not in the project.
Additional information removed from a product model were still shown for the product model and the devices inserted/added with it.
The Insert object info to drawing symbol did not stay at the indicated location when it was moved together with a mirrored symbol.
When converting from version 18 to version 19, device attributes were moved to their default positions.
Locking device attribute editing did not always work as expected.
Changing a device to use a product model left an extra symbol for the device.

Schematics

New and improved features

Opening projects	Opening projects from project management is now faster. Project settings are read from all the project databases at the same time, and a project can be selected before all the project settings have been read.
Electrical windows and project tree	New options have been added to the Find project tree: Unconnected cables – The selection lists cables that are not connected to any device's wiring point. Unconnected wire occurrences – The selection lists cable wires, wire harness wires and internal wires and jumper bars, with one end unconnected and with empty From or To information.
Markings	The following changes have been made to markings: The Insert object info to drawing function has been improved: The function remembers your definitions for text size and alignment the next time you open it. It is now possible to define more product information for drawings with the Name 1, Name 2, Amount, and Planning unit fields. Symbols added with this function can be edited by right-clicking and selecting Edit symbol. The changes can be updated to all the similar symbols, or to the selected symbol only. The Additional info to objects function highlights a missing attribute in red. If you select additional information with missing attributes, you are notified.
Devices	The Create a symbol from Device Boundary and the objects in it function has been added to the Auxiliary functions menu. With this function, you can create a new symbol of a device boundary and the symbols in it.
Selecting location/device	The Select Location/Device dialog used when defining ID now has a search field which makes finding the desired location/device easier.
Devices	The functions Change device's location to surrounding boundary's location and Change device's circuit to surrounding boundary's circuit have been added to the context menu of device occurrences. With these functions, you can reset the location or circuit back to that of the surrounding boundary.
Wiring	The following changes have been made to the cable drawing functions: The functions Draw cable, Redraw cable and Extend cable are now available in the cable occurrence context menu. When a cable ends to a device or location boundary line, the Reference to another sheet dialog does not open. When a cable is drawn over a device or location boundary line, it is cut. The Continue later function has been added to the Reference to another sheet dialog. When creating the reference to another sheet, you can now also define the reference ID. Cut points are now supported. When drawing a wire, you can now also define the reference ID when creating the reference to another sheet. The order of steps in which the Connect and mark cable and its wires function is carried out has changed: you first draw the cable across a wire line and only then define cable data. This way, the function can retrieve the From and To information for the cable from the drawing. You can also open this function via the wiring tree. However, the cable has then already been selected so you need to first define the cable data and then draw the cable.
I/O functions	The following changes have been made to the I/O functions: A new function, Create a new I/O to this channel, has been added to the context menu for channel symbols. With this function, you can create a new I/O as well as connect it to the selected channel. It is now possible to define the Start address IN, Start address OUT and Bit address offset information when creating an I/O card. With this information, addresses can be created to the card right away. There is a new option, Create a new I/O rack, in the I/O functions toolbar. When you right-click on an I/O card and select Insert all card's channels into drawing, the function checks whether channel symbols have already been inserted into the drawing. If symbols have been inserted, the user is prompted to select whether to insert all symbols or only the ones not inserted. If symbols have not been inserted, all symbols are inserted starting from the first channel. The Logic type and Logic elec. 1 attribute values now automatically come from the product model for I/O card input and output module symbols.

Bug fixes

Object ID / electrical position defined on the Properties tab changed the customer ID when the device had sub-devices.
The Assign symbols in drawing to this device function did not change all occurrences.
Location defined which wiring types were available in internal wiring.
Drawing a cable wire did not update cable combing references.
Cable combing lost wire connection data.
When generating circuit drawings, templates generated separate drawings.
Removing a cable without syncing is not possible even if the connected wirings have been removed.
Opening and saving a drawing added wiring points in the database.
Cable schema changed the cable connection.
In device properties, a new position replaced the previously defined position.
Changing the direction of a vertical reference arrow did not work.
Reference texts were not copied.
When the drawing was not in the project, the targets for wiring references changed when synchronized.
When generating drawings from multiple circuits at the same time, the part number changed.
When generating drawings based on Excel, all information was not imported if the template drawing was open when generation was started.
If a contact pack only had one contact, moving to the other end of the reference did not work.
In SQL project, extra electrical positions were created inside location boundaries.
Coil cross-reference was not marked to coil pin's sub-reference occurrence for the primary object.
When saving a drawing attachment to a new directory, the first pin description was removed from each I/O channel.
Creating and editing I/O card devices did not work as expected.

Symbolics	After the first installation when you first start the application, you are asked to define which symbol standard to use in projects. This affects the kind of symbol menus you will have. The selected standard will be used by default for new projects. You can change it project-specifically in the general symbol settings.
Add and insert logos	When you insert a logo in the drawing, the program now checks whether the drawing already has a logo. If the program finds a logo, it asks if you want to replace the existing logo.
Project tree	In the Find project tree, context menus are now available showing the same functions as in the device, wiring and product model trees, depending on the selected node. You can, for example, easily insert a device into the drawing from your own selection list.
Frames and sheets	The naming of customer drawing target files has been changed: The file name is no longer automatically modified. If the source and target file names are identical, saving is not done. The new Add sheet number range to file name option added for the Create an array of sheets setting adds the sheet number range to the file name.
Copying object data	The settings dialog for copying object data has been renewed. The new Paste dialog only shows the data the copied objects actually have. The default settings for the dialog are still defined in the general Electrical settings.
Inserting symbols	Inserting symbols and symbol IDs has been improved: When you place a non-scalable symbol in the drawing with the Insert devices of the location function, the ID of the symbol does not scale according to the symbol size but stays in the default size.
Product models	Importing pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model has been improved. When selecting product information for a product model, you can now decide how to handle the pins and additional information: add missing information only, add missing and overwrite existing, or do not add. With the Import product information pins and additional infos button, you can update pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model without opening the product information dialog.
Device and location boundaries	The following changes have been made to boundary functions: You can now select the symbol for the boundary appearance from the Layout menu. When you select a symbol for the boundary appearance from a menu, the symbol menu toolbar is shown first.

Bug fixes

In the project tree context menu, there were functions (such as Assign symbols in drawing to this device) that did not work in print mode. They have now been removed.
When inserting a symbol, the OK button was sometimes disabled when it should not have been.
Removing an attribute at symbol creation caused the program to crash.
Even if you had defined size information as product information, for example, for a terminal block, the Draw terminal strip settings still had the default values.
The Convert to product model's device function did not fetch the product model symbol when it was not in the drawing.

Define size data of equipment	Defining and presenting size data has been improved: In the drawing, size data is presented as a scalable symbol which creates a sub-occurrence. When the Define size of devices dialog opens, it shows the current size data for the device. If data comes from the product model, size data is not set for the device. The Define size data of equipment and Delete size data of equipment functions have been added to symbol functions. The Draw/update size data of equipment and Deactivate size data of equipment functions have been removed from lighting functions.
Elevations	Picking elevation has been changed so that if a 3D object is selected, elevation is taken from the sub-occurrences's insertion point.
Functions	The following changes have been made to functions: You can now use the Define element elevation data function to change the elevation for holes. The Use the previous offset-value for inserting setting has been added to the Insert object info to drawing function. The setting enables using the same offset easily in different drawings. When enabled, you do not need to insert the symbol. Instead, it is automatically inserted according to the saved offset. If the previous value has not been saved yet, the option is disabled. The offset value is saved after inserting the symbol, and it will then be available the next time.
Wiring and markings	The following changes have been made to the wiring functions: The logic of drawing continuous wiring has been changed: when one continuous wiring is ended with Enter, the function is no longer closed. Instead, the program asks you to indicate the start point for a new wiring. Pressing Enter when defining the start point will close the function. See Draw wiring. A new button, Mark/pick wiring IDs, reference line, has been added to the Wiring and markings toolbar. With this function, it is possible to add wiring IDs for the selected wires in a layout. See Mark/pick wiring data.
Inserting symbols	It is now possible to automatically create a device group from a symbol inserted next to another one, by selecting the Automatically add symbol to ID device group when inserting left or right option in the settings dialog.
Groups	You can now create additional information for a group with the Additional info to objects function.
Product models	Importing pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model has been improved. When selecting product information for a product model, you can now decide how to handle the pins and additional information: add missing information only, add missing and overwrite existing, or do not add. With the Import product information pins and additional infos button, you can update pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model without opening the product information dialog.
Storeys and spaces	The Floors and spaces project tree now displays apartments. This makes it easier to manage spaces in the project tree, when a building consists of several spaces/floor (hotels and apartment buildings, for example). You can add multiple apartments to a floor, and you can add multiple spaces to an apartment. The project tree groups the spaces in the same apartment together.
IFC export	You can now export the storeys of a selected building into separate IFC files. The program names the files after the names of the building, the storey, and an optional planning area.

Bug fixes

All cables in a wiring package had the same ID as the first cable, even when individual IDs had been defined.
Counting quantities did not work, if you selected multiple options.
The right side of a scalable symbol icon in product model edit was cut out.
When inserting a device, the elevation value was 0 even when the value for the scalable symbol had been modified.
In the Distribution Board and Group management dialog, showing/hiding the Distribution Board and Group columns did not work correctly.
The feed length did not update in the Group dialog.
When a product model with default system had been created based on a scalable symbol, the program always asked for a system when using the Create new devices and insert them in selected area function.
Updating a value in an additional information boundary did not affect the Insert object info to drawing symbols.
When inserting multiple IDs with the Insert info to drawing function, the IDs were shown correctly only after syncing.
The Insert object info to drawing function did not work well with angled coordinates.
Creating a product model from a scalable symbol added two 3D symbols to the product model.
When using the Save a copy of the drawing to the project function, the 3D symbols of devices were changed to scalable boxes.
When the system was left empty in the Distribution Board dialog and then selected in the System selection dialog, the system was not set for the board.
After inserting a scalable symbol, the 3D symbol defined for it was not taken into account when creating the new device. Instead, the default 3D symbol was added to the device.
A notification about print mode being active was shown inconsistently during IFC export.
Quitting the wiring function was slow.
When wiring was started, for example, from the project tree or group mark, wiring information was added even when Add wiring information had not been selected.
In some cases, there were errors in the suspension rail 2D geometry.
When editing raceways, the Connect at the same angle by stretching and Connect at the same angle with new segment functions did not work as should.
The Find text or ID function crashed the program.
When the cable type was changed for a cable with wiring marking, Zoom extents was activated.
Device integration did not work if there was no 3D symbol in the drawing.
Saving a copy of the current drawing caused problems in generating 3D raceways.
Devices were sometimes assigned 3D symbols that were different from those in the product models.
There were problems in rotating devices' 3D sub-occurrences.

New and improved features

When integrated to Plant Modeller, electrical calculations now use the cable length imported from Plant Modeller.

Fixed bugs

Moving a raceway did not work properly.
Copying a raceway broke the original raceway.
The application crashed when the Show product model devices' occurrences function moved to another drawing.
In the Standard version, the Convert to product model's device function did not work.
An apostrophe in the distribution board ID crashed the application.
Saving a drawing after adding a distribution board resulted in an error.

New and improved features

Symbolics	The following changes have been made: The ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standard symbols are now available in the applications. After the first installation when you first start the application, you are asked to define which symbol standard/locale to use in projects. The symbol menus will then be based on this setting. The selected standard/locale will be used by default for new projects. You can change it project-specifically in the general symbol settings.
Add and insert logos	When you insert a logo in the drawing, the program now checks whether the drawing already has a logo. If the program finds a logo, it asks if you want to replace the existing logo.
Project tree	In the Find project tree, context menus are now available showing the same functions as in the device, wiring and product model trees, depending on the selected node. You can, for example, easily insert a device into the drawing from your own selection list.
Frames and sheets	The naming of customer drawing target files has been changed: The file name is no longer automatically modified. If the source and target file names are identical, saving is not done. The new Add sheet number range to file name option added for the Create an array of sheets setting adds the sheet number range to the file name.
Copying object data	The settings dialog for copying object data has been renewed. The new Paste dialog only shows the data the copied objects actually have. The default settings for the dialog are still defined in the general Electrical settings.
Wiring	The following changes have been made to wiring: When a cable wire does not have any occurrences but it is connected, you can change a wire in the drawing to this cable by right-clicking and selecting Define a wiring in drawing as this wire or Connect and mark cable and its wires. Wire marking is also added. With theAdd wiring references to several wires function located in the context menu of an unpaired reference, you can extend wiring or select an existing wire or reference. In addition to another sheet, you can also continue wiring in another open drawing. The Connect and mark cable and its wires function now offers cables based on the From/To information, which makes it easier to select wires for cable combing. Before, the function did not offer cables already in the drawing, and you had to select them one by one. The Insert object info to drawing dialog now shows group information when you select a cable belonging to a group.
Functions	The following changes have been made to the Insert object info to drawing function: The Use the previous offset-value for inserting setting has been added. The setting enables using the same offset easily in different drawings. When enabled, you do not need to insert the symbol. Instead, it is automatically inserted according to the saved offset. If the previous value has not been saved yet, the option is disabled. The offset value is saved after inserting the symbol, and it will then be available the next time. The Assign symbols in drawing to this device function now works for the Insert object info to drawing symbols as well.
Single-line diagrams	The tools for creating single-line diagrams are now available in one toolbar, in addition to which new functions for creating symbols have also been added. Furthermore, symbol menus for the most common symbols are also available.
Product models	Importing pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model has been improved. When selecting product information for a product model, you can now decide how to handle the pins and additional information: add missing information only, add missing and overwrite existing, or do not add. With the Import product information pins and additional infos button, you can update pins and additional information for product information selected in the product model without opening the product information dialog.
Manage connectors	When you select a terminal strip or a terminal block / connector from the drawing, you can insert terminal blocks or connectors from that same terminal strip with the Insert terminal blocks of this strip in drawing function.
Device, location and circuit boundaries	The following changes have been made to boundary functions: You can now select the symbol for the boundary appearance from the Layout menu. When you select a symbol for the boundary appearance from a menu, the symbol menu toolbar is shown first.
References	You can now connect a wire from cable combing to the From/To pins in the drawing with the new Connect wire function. The function is available in database projects when the wire has no occurrences in any drawings. If necessary, you can remove the connection with the Clear wire's connection function.

Bug fixes

Flipping the wiring reference arrow did not work for multiple objects. Now, the Flip wiring reference arrow function is only available when only one object has been selected.
If a circuit had more than one drawing template and the templates were generated into one file, generation did not work properly.
Selecting a wiring reference pair did not connect the wires in a clipboard project.
The AutoCAD drawings to Electrical drawing sheets function asked for the line type name in most drawings.
When editing certain devices, the program notifies they do not exist.
When creating wiring references from one drawing to another, the function crashed.
When generating drawings, identical cable IDs from different templates were not generated correctly into the target project.
In queue printing and adding revision change arrows, for example, the dialogs opened to the wrong screen. The dialogs now always open to the middle of the Draw dialog, regardless of the screen.
Location was mistaken for electrical position when it had been set that the prefix is not shown with locations and the Wrap Full IDS to multiple lines option had not been selected (the location was only marked to the E_ELPOSID attribute).
Copying subdevices inside a device boundary resulted in symbol duplicates.
Device ID was added to device boundary as a common attribute.
Changes to information added via the Insert object info to drawing dialog were not updated in the drawing.
When editing a symbol added with the Insert object info to drawing function, your own additional information was not shown.
The formatting defined in the Insert object info to drawing dialog did not work for location.
In a cable schema, location was divided to multiple overlapping parts instead of one boundary.
Cable combing references were generated randomly when it was not clear whether the cable combing belonged to the start or the end of the cable.
Data for the new I/O card end symbols was inadequate.
Setting the channel number did not work in Excel generation.
Symbol selection in product model prompted an error when selecting a Schema symbol.
Several functions were missing from the context menus in different grids.
When several users synced changes and saved, an error was prompted.
Starting modular generation without a project prompted the CADS.Common error.
When adding a drawing to a project, project settings were only saved to the 0 project.
Device symbols were created to the database even when there was no device occurrence in the current document.
Symbols (e.g. SPKIO049 and SPKIO050) were missing from the Symbolit.vlb file.
One of the contacts for the switch SPKYT01216 was faulty.
The Represents multiple device parts symbol type was set based on the main type, even when the symbol had the Represents a single part of a device subtype.
The Change drawing frame function did not show all drawing frames.
The PurgeDeviceSymbols command did not work as should.
When copying a symbol without changing the ID and then using the Assign symbols in drawing to this device function, the original symbol referenced the copy.
Cable combing did not create connection reference if only one wire was selected.
Editing wire reference properties crashed the application.
Product information disappeared when device boundary was bound to another location.
Syncing changes from the database to the drawing sometimes resulted in an error.

In CAD reports, it is now possible to include devices without location into device lists with the No location option added to the location list.

Fixed bugs

The application crashed when editing an Insert object info to drawing symbol.
Wires were not disconnected when deleted from a drawing.
After clipboard import, opening a drawing changed another I/O to the drawing.
When inserting an I/O occurrence to the drawing from the I/O context menu, the I/O was moved below NO_CARD in the project tree.
When adding a symbol or pasting an item, database occurrences/boundaries based on DBIs were not handled correctly.
Wiring reference was inserted in the wrong place.
Opening and saving a drawing restored deleted circuits and locations to the database.
